Everything you need to get your first map live in a few minutes.

1. Install

Download the Free plugin from the Pricing section, then upload it like any other WordPress plugin: Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the .zip file, and activate. If you’ve purchased Pro, install the Pro add-on the same way — Pro requires the Free plugin to be installed and active first.

2. Create Your First Map

In your WordPress admin, go to 3D Globe Maps > Add New. Give your map a title (this is for your own reference — it’s not shown to visitors), then use the settings tabs to choose:

  • Mode — Globe (3D, rotating) or Flat Map (2D projection)
  • Theme — Dark or Light
  • Style — Photoreal, Minimal, or Night Lights on Free; Dot Matrix or Low-Poly on Pro
  • Pin color — any color, applies to every pin on this map

3. Add Pins

Scroll to the Pins section on the same screen and click Add Pin. Each pin needs:

  • Title — shown as a short label when visitors hover the pin
  • Latitude / Longitude — click “Pick on map” to place it visually instead of typing coordinates
  • Content — the description shown when a visitor clicks the pin

Pro adds optional fields per pin: a photo, contact details (email, phone, website, social links), a “Get Directions” link, and — if Timeline is enabled on the map — a date.

Free plan: 1 map, up to 2 pins. Pro: unlimited maps and pins.

4. Publish It

Every map has a Map ID shown near the top of its edit screen. Copy the shortcode — [Granpai3DGlobe id="123"] — and paste it into any page, post, or widget area that accepts shortcodes. That’s it; the map renders wherever you place it.

Pro Features — Where to See Them Live

Rather than repeat what each Pro feature does here, these are running for real on our demo pages — the fastest way to understand a feature is to click around it directly:

  • Growth Timeline (dated pins, scrub or auto-play) — see it on the Timeline demo
  • Pin List Sidebar (always-visible list next to the map) — see it on the Global Impact demo
  • Every setting at once — toggle modes, styles, and colors live on the Interactive Playground

Import / Export

Under 3D Globe Maps > Import/Export, you can export any map (including all its pins) as a JSON file, and import it back in — either to back it up, or to move it to another site. Available on both Free and Pro.

Common Questions

Can I use this with Elementor, Divi, or another page builder?
Yes — it’s a standard WordPress shortcode, so it works in any shortcode or HTML block in any builder.

My map looks small or cropped on mobile.
Make sure the shortcode isn’t inside a container with a fixed, very narrow width — the map sizes itself responsively based on its container.

Where do I manage my Pro license?
Under 3D Globe Maps > Settings > License, once the Pro add-on is installed and active.
